How can we start to thank everyone who supported us at our recent Tesco Food Collection on Saturday. It is always the most heartwarming experience to see the generosity of the shoppers at Newtownbreda Tesco on our food collection days. Even though the shoppers support us all year round, generously donating in our permanent collection point, the response on these special collection days always blows us away. We collected an amazing 877.95 kg! Every item is gratefully received and distributed locally.
Equally as exciting is we got to make connections and have some really great conversations about the work of the foodbank.
This event couldn’t happen without a team of fantastic volunteers who gave up their time to engage with the shoppers, pack, transport and sort the food ready for distribution at our foodbank sessions. We want to send you a special thank you too. We couldn’t do this without you.
