Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

WAREHOUSE STOCK COORDINATOR – VARIOUS DAYS/TIMES

Food banks provide essential community services to people in crisis. As the Stock Coordinator you will help the Foodbank Manager to manage and control the stock, ensuring enough stock is maintained to meet the demand. Moving stock around sites as required ensuring food wastage is kept to a minimum. If this opportunity sounds like the right fit for you then please apply here

WAREHOUSE CORPORATE LEAD – VARIOUS DAYS/TIMES

Acting as the link between food donations coming in and reaching those in crisis, you’ll support the smooth running of your local food bank. The main task of this role will be leading groups of corporate volunteers while they volunteer with us. You’ll be leading the team sorting and dating food and additional items in the warehouse. THURSDAY EVENING DRIVER – 18:30 – 19:30

Food banks provide essential community services to people in crisis. At times situations occur when people need emergency food but are unable to attend an appointment at the foodbank. As a Delivery driver you would work in a pair to take parcels out on these occasions. If this opportunity sounds like the right fit for you then please apply here.
