SOUTH BELFAST FOODBANK VACANCY:

South Belfast Foodbank Part -Time Administrative Officer

Would you like to play a key role in tackling injustice and poverty? Are you experienced in administration, with the right set of skills to help a busy foodbank?

We are recruiting an Administrative Officer to help us in achieving our mission of alleviating food poverty in South Belfast. We are part of the Trussell Trust network, founded on and shaped by the Christian principles of dignity, justice, and compassion.

The person appointed will have previous administrative experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others; they will work closely with the project manager and other foodbank volunteers and together achieve our long-term strategy.

Working Pattern – 30 hours per week – flexible by mutual arrangement but must include Fridays; some evening working may be required to fulfil the role e.g., online meetings etc.
